Meet the Staff
Kenilworth Dental Associates – Kenilworth
Carole – Registered Dental Hygienist
Carole is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Loyola University in 1993. Current research has linked periodontal disease with many systematic diseases, so the role of oral hygiene cannot be underestimated. Carole considers this as she customizes each patient’s home care regime and supplies the knowledge and tools to best maintain excellent oral health. Carole is laser certified and participates in continuing education throughout the year.
Carole is the proud mother of three of our favorite patients. When she’s not at soccer games cheering her kids on, she enjoys running, cooking, and traveling.
Candace – Clinical Coordinator
Candace is Dr. Dani’s clinical coordinator. Growing up in York Pennsylvania, she saw her grandfather practicing dentistry and has had a passion for the field ever since. She recently received her Bachelor of Arts in Polish from the University of Wisconsin—Madison and plans on attending dental school in the near future.
Having just moved to the city, Candace is excited to begin her new adventure as a Chicagoan and is looking forward to getting to know you and all the other patients!
Leslie – Dental Assistant
Leslie is one of Dr. Dani’s dental assistants and he’s been assisting for 14 years. Though he was born in Hong Kong, he grew up in Chicago for most of his life. Over the years, he’s received certifications in coronal polishing and sealants as well as anesthesia/IV sedations. Leslie has a passion for the dental field and enjoys helping others change their lives and smiles. Helping people has always been a rewarding experience for him; he enjoys giving more than receiving.
Leslie is a proud father of a 6-year-old princess that he adores. When he’s not in the office, he spends his time with her and his family, and especially loves attending all of his daughter’s ice skating practices. His hobbies are going to the gym and racing his Porsche with his buddies.
Evita – Dental Hygienist
Evita Sanchez-Rusinak, RDH, BSDH, MPH, a native of Chicago, IL, studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and earned a BS in Dental Hygiene and later her Masters in Public Health. Striving to always provide her patients with the highest standard of care, Evita is licensed to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide, provide soft tissue laser therapy and is a certified Invisalign professional. In addition to private practice, Evita has worked in different capacities within the dental profession for 13 years. She has worked at Northwestern University/Feinberg Department of Preventive Medicine as a dental examiner for the Study of Latinos as well for the City of Chicago Department of Public Health’s dental sealant program. Evita believes wholeheartedly in providing care in underserved areas so she continues to be an active volunteer with Team Smile, Colgate’s Bright Smile, and The Special Olympics Special Smiles programs. She is grateful to all the patients and families she has met over the years, and endeavors to use the knowledge they have helped her gain to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Evita served as President of the Chicago component of the Illinois Dental Hygienists’ Association in 2008-2010 and numerous times as a delegate to IDHA. She remains an active member of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene, American Dental Hygienists’ Association, Illinois Dental Hygienist Association, Chicago Dental Hygienist Society, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
